INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

CIA MIGUEL CABALLERO S.A.S. designs, produces, and markets specialized personal protection solutions with innovation, custom design, technology, and quality, committing to comply with the guidelines of its management systems for Quality [ISO: 9001.2015], Occupational Health and Safety [ISO: 45001.2008], Environment [ISO: 14001.2015], SGS-BASC [VS. 6], and BA 9000, in order to continuously increase and improve the product, customer satisfaction, supply chain assurance, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the needs of stakeholders, with a special emphasis on employees and the care and protection of the environment.

Under the guidelines of this policy, the following objectives have been defined:

Quality Management

Be a reliable and strategic partner for its customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty with high-quality products, timely delivery, and effective service. Engage, develop, and maintain competent, committed, creative, and customer-oriented employees.

Acquire high-quality products with the support of reliable partners. Develop innovative products that effectively meet market needs while optimizing costs.

Continuously improve processes by optimizing resources and identifying and controlling risks to increase the organization’s profitability.

Occupational Health and Safety Management

Comply with current national regulations applicable to occupational hazards.

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety Management System for the management of occupational risks, from its management to decision-making.

Direct efforts to provide and maintain safe and optimal working conditions in each work environment, along with fostering a culture of self-care and responsibility among management and employees regarding the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System for managing occupational risks. Protect the physical, mental, and social integrity of employees, contractors, and subcontractors.

Manage hazards and risks by adopting effective measures to develop hazard identification, risk assessment, and valuation, and establishing controls that prevent harm to the health of employees and/or contractors, as well as to equipment and facilities.

Implement and develop activities to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases, as well as promote health within the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Protect the safety and health of all employees by continuously improving the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the company. Ensure the participation of all employees in proposed OHS activities. Inform employees and/or contractors, and their representatives on the Joint Committee, about the development of all stages of the OHS Management System and evaluate recommendations for improving the OHS Management System. Ensure training for employees on OHS aspects. Ensure the availability of personnel responsible for workplace safety and health.

Environmental Management

Comply with current national regulations applicable to Environmental Management.

Prevent and control pollution and protect natural resources. Prevent and avoid significant environmental impacts caused by manufacturing activities, especially those arising from the generation and management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Strengthen the practice of minimizing and utilizing waste, generating awareness for the care and sustainable development of the environment. Train company employees on environmental aspects related to our activities and functions, promoting a greater degree of sensitivity, awareness, and responsibility regarding the preservation and conservation of the environment.

Protect the environment through continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System.

Practice the sustainable use of natural resources, minimizing the consumption of natural resources (water, energy, fuel, land) as much as possible. Conduct comprehensive management of generated waste, respecting the environment by applying proper segregation, internal transportation, storage, and final disposal.

BASC Security Management

Prevent illegal activities, bribery, and corruption in the productive and logistics chain that may affect the organization’s operations. Effectively comply with BASC security standards in its management and security systems. Adopt measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

BA 9000 Management

Comply with the construction and quality requirements of body armor as specified in the BA 9000 standard.
