In the world of operational security, every second counts. But there are moments when it’s not just decisions that matter, but also the <\/span>preparation and the right protective gear<\/b>. This is one of those moments\u2014when technology saved a life.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u00e9sar Iglesias<\/b>, Deputy Operations Manager at <\/span>Fortius<\/b>, shared with us a critical incident that took place in <\/span>November 2024<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During a routine operation, one of his teammates was involved in a <\/span>firefight<\/b>. In the middle of the exchange, he took a <\/span>direct bullet hit to the chest<\/b>. Fortunately, it did <\/span>not end in tragedy<\/b>. Thanks to the bulletproof vest he was wearing, the round was stopped, and his life was saved.<\/span><\/p>\n
